SPOT tracker
During your trip, you can hire a SPOT tracker and sign up on the Tour Aotearoa tracking website: touraotearoa.maprogress.com. With this service, friends and family can follow your progress on the ride.
In case of an emergency, the tracker also functions as a personal locater beacon (PLB). To connect to this service, email shane@maprogress.com. MAProgress also hires and sells SPOT trackers.
